Could Your Process Be Going Off-Track Unnoticed?
Sporadic deviations can occur more often than you think. By the time the next manual check takes place, a product may already have left the process with the wrong shape, hardness, or other critical properties.
This is the kind of inefficiency our team at Selmatec aims to address through the continuous thermal monitoring provided by the TM-Inspector.
The TM-Inspector combines software with optimized IR cameras to continuously monitor fast-moving products across a temperature range of -20 to 3000°C. It provides a live view of critical process points and helps operators detect temperature deviations as they happen.
How much can the live feed really tell you?
On the software, measurement ranges can be configured for maximum and average temperatures, while visual warnings and alarms notify operators when defined limits are exceeded. Password-protected parameters help control system settings, and stored measurement data supports traceability and reporting in CSV, image, and video formats.
The TM-Inspector uses our IRSX, TV30, and PyroView camera series to combine area visualization with precise temperature measurement, even on moving products. This is particularly relevant on continuous production lines, where changing process conditions can cause deviations that interval checks may miss.
Continuous monitoring gives operators the data to fine-tune process parameters, reduce the risk of defective products, and keep production within defined process windows.
If you need a clearer picture of what is happening to individual products during heat treatment, the TM-Inspector provides the continuous, traceable temperature data you need. This can be particularly valuable in food production, where products must reach specific temperatures to achieve the desired taste and appearance while, most importantly, meeting food safety and hygiene requirements.
