New Version of FLUKE's Spot Size Calculator App
An important part of a successful IR temperature measurement is the search for the right pyrometer for your project. For this purpose Selmatec recommends the Spot Size Calculator App from FLUKE Process Instruments. With this app you can easily calculate/select the right optics for the appropriate device (pyrometer/linescanner/IR-Camera). With just a few entries (device type, series, measuring distance, etc) you will find the right product that reliably supports your application (TIP: the object to be measured should be larger than the spot to avoid falsification of measured values).
The app supports all currently available FLUKE infrared pyrometers, line scanners and thermal imaging cameras. Versions for Microsoft Windows, Android and iOS are available. There is also an online web version that runs under all common browsers.
