Working at Selmatec: Introducing our new trainees!
At Selmatec, our commitment to innovation extends beyond the technologies we develop. We also aim to invest in bright minds that will shape the future. For years, we’ve been running immersive apprenticeship programs together with ALÜ (Ausbildungsverbund Lüneburg) at our main office in Lüneburg, offering young professionals the opportunity to dive deep into the world of industrial machine vision solutions.
Meet our new trainees: Iheb Chebil and John Paul, who became aware of our training program through ALÜ, and were happy to share their experiences.
“I have always been fascinated by modern technologies. That's why I decided to do my apprenticeship at Selmatec”, says Iheb, an aspiring Electronics Technician from Tunisia. “The team is really nice and I have new and exciting tasks every day. It's a great experience”. The field application of his work will include system components, sensors, actuators and microsystems.
John, on the other hand, is an IT specialist for who joined us via ALÜ. At Selmatec, he works closely with our senior specialists who develop monitoring software and applications. “When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by my new colleagues. After a brief introduction to the company and a tour of the various departments, the actual part of my training began”, he says. “I was particularly impressed by the modern equipment and the friendly atmosphere in the company. I'm looking forward to learning a lot in the coming months!”.
