On its own, the Line Scanner (MP300 model) operates at up to 300 lines per second, with a spectral sensitivity of 3.9µm, temperature range of 50–1,100°C, and a 90° swivel angle. This is expanded with the tilt unit’s 180° pivot, allowing the device to cover wide areas in 10-15 seconds, ensuring precise control to monitor cooling parameters for various steel grades. The spectral sensitivity of 3.9µm of the line scanner provides uniquely reliable temperature data and far exceeds the achievable accuracies of long-wave bolometric IR-cameras.
On the software side, the system collects the data from the Line Scanner, providing comprehensive analysis in real-time. This speed and efficiency allow you to detect anomalies and take proactive action to achieve a product of higher quality. Additionally, this prevents dangerous and expensive accidents caused by premature pick-ups if the billet temperature is not optimal.
