The use of the hot blast technique in blast furnaces is essential to increase the inner temperature of the furnace, thus improving its capacity. An unregulated process, however, will become expensive: it consumes more coke and rising temperatures might strain or severely damage the equipment.

 

With the Endurance Fiber-Optic you will avoid these issues. This two-color pyrometer constitutes a redundant measuring unit that guarantees superb accuracy in the extremely polluted environment of the hot blast stove (compared to regular devices). It can be placed facing either the top of the stove dome (ideal option) or its lateral brick lining.

 

To further increase reliability and massively reduce maintenance, we have developed a reliable high-performance air purge system for the Endurance, which has already proven itself in continuous use by our customers for years. If required, this can be redundantly equipped with two measuring heads.
