The TP-Inspector is a complete system solution to monitor torpedo cars as they carry molten metal, which gradually degrades their refractory lining. As the lining deteriorates, the risk of a breach in the protective shell increases, creating serious hazards for personnel and equipment. How it works
The full version of our TP-Inspector includes an MP300 Line Scanner (with robust stainless steel housing for harsh environments), which maps the surface of each car to create a thermal image of every torpedo car. This is immediately displayed through a specialized software designed in-house, where you can visualize temperature changes, observe lining anomalies and receive alerts. With continuous, real-time monitoring, you will have time to act before serious issues arise.
Beyond real-time monitoring, the system tracks essential operational data for each torpedo car, including load weights, travel records, and maintenance history, alongside each thermal image. This comprehensive data helps identify wear patterns, enabling operators to optimize maintenance schedules and prolong the service life of each torpedo car.
