With a 90° field of view and an adjustable swivel angle, the 2D Scan can efficiently monitor large cooling bed areas in a single pass. Operating at up to 300 lines per second (equipped with the MP300 Line Scanner model), it delivers a complete thermal scan within 10–15 seconds, ensuring real-time process transparency. Its 3.9µm spectral sensitivity and temperature range of 50–1,100°C provide highly accurate measurements, making it an essential tool for maintaining process stability.
When working with magnetic lifting systems, it ensures billets are only picked when they have reached a safe temperature, preventing dangerous product drops and reducing costly downtime. Automated threshold alerts further enhance safety by allowing immediate corrective action when temperature deviations occur.
