Product Overview

ThermoView TV40 is a powerful industrial thermal imaging system from the brand you trust, with 150 years of experience in industrial applications. The ThermoView TV40 thermal imaging system is designed for the most demanding environments. With its intuitive and comprehensive analysis software, it provides the performance parameters and personalization features needed for process monitoring and control.

The system, which consists of the ThermoView software and the TV40 thermal imaging camera, is a fully integrated thermal imaging solution for temperature profile measurements and the control, monitoring and archiving of temperature values to ensure process traceability and high product quality.

The standard thermal imaging camera TV40 is equipped with an integrated lens and therefore requires no moving external parts. Its housing is protected to IP67 and has sealed connections for industrial applications. The GigE interface enables high-speed data transmission at 60 frames/second (fps) and PoE power supply (optional). The TV40 thermal imaging camera offers two sighting options, the IR and camera sight, for effortless alignment.

The scope of delivery includes the ThermoView software, which can be integrated into process control systems. It receives synchronization data and provides logical pass/fail outputs. This allows product testing and monitoring of process temperatures with alarm output as well as archiving of temperature values. Several temperature analysis functions enable trend display and fault diagnosis as well as I/O alarm output in the event of excessive or insufficient heating.

The system is also suitable for applications where the outputs of multiple thermal imaging cameras need to be displayed and combined (stitching).

The introduction of the industrial, robust pan/tilt head from Fluke Process Instruments, in combination with our IR thermal imaging cameras and the system software, opens up a wide range of new applications. The proven ThermoView software has been adapted to support the full functionality of the 360° pan/tilt head in a single interface and to perform discrete inspections depending on the position approached.

ThermoView Software

The ThermoView software offers a wide range of temperature analysis and process monitoring functions for temperature profiling applications. Among other things, it supports periodic and continuous testing of temperature events, separate emissivities for each area of interest (AOI), and user-configurable setting of temperature conditions to trigger events or alarms that can be output to discrete I/O devices.

In addition, the software offers the following analysis functions:

  • Display of histograms and isotherms
  • Export of multiple files
  • Acquisition and display of trend data for temperature ranges and temperature points
  • Recording of trend data for areas of interest
  • Simultaneous display of offline images during operation in automatic mode

ThermoView Lite software

ThermoView Lite is an entry-level software package that allows the user to gain an overview of the features and benefits of the ThermoView TV40 thermal imaging camera. Among other things, the software allows the user to

  • View images from the TV40 thermal imaging camera.
  • Load offline images/sequences
  • Copy images to the clipboard
